I gulped, waiting for Phil to explain.

"We've decided that we're sending Alan to rehab," Phil sighed. "We can't keep doing with this with him. We tell him show after show to stop getting smashed, but he does it anyways. He's actually pretty damn lucky they didn't catch him with any pot."

I looked down at my hands, "But how are the fans going to feel about that?"

"Well, hopefully they'll understand that we just want him to get better," Austin frowned.

"I hope so..."

We had put him on a plane straight to rehab this morning. He was NOT happy, but it had to be done. We were discussing where we could possibly find a backup guitarist by tomorrow night that would know all the songs.

"Well, I remember I taught someone all of our songs that were on the first album," Austin grinned.

"Who?" I asked.

"What? Me?!" I looked at him in disbelief.

"Yeah. I mean, you know us better than anyone else. You look like a rocker, you know how to do the guitar thing. Why not?" Tino smiled.

"Because I haven't played since..." I paused. "I haven't played in forever."

"Well, we have a day. I'll teach you the basics. Now, Aaron and Phil, go get coffee. Tino, go find Alan's guitar shit. I'm going to go get the isopropyl," Austin commanded, everyone each heading off in separate directions.

I sat in the awkward silence for a minute before Austin came back with a plastic bottle and some cotton balls.

"Okay. This is going to dry out the skin of your fingers so you can rebuild the calluses easier," Austin explained, kissing each fingertip first.

He put a cotton ball over the mouth of the bottle, tipped it upside down, then applied the strange liquid to my fingertips. It was a weird sensation, but I remember the first time he did this for me. It was the day Shayley had promised to teach me guitar, but called Austin instead. I found out he hadn't really been too sick to teach me that day, he had been at his girlfriend's house.

"Hey, Addie!" Austin snapped his fingers in front of my face.

"Uh... yeah?" I blinked a few times.

"Whatcha thinking about?" He grinned.

"Just... last night..." I said, deciding it'd be best to talk about it before the guys got back.

"Oh, yeah... about that..." Austin rubbed the back of his neck.

"Austin, I've always had feelings for you. But, I don't exactly want to take it so quickly," I looked down.

"Really?" His yes sparkled.

"Yeah," I gave him a small smile.

"Wow... Addie... I just-" I cut him off by crashing our lips together. He kissed back happily, letting his tongue poke at my bottom lip. My fingers threaded through his short hair as his came to rest on my hips. I pulled away because I felt like I was about to pass out.

"Okay then," Austin laughed.

Sorry this is so shitty. But I couldn't think of anything else, man.
