You've Lied To My Face
It's Love That Keeps Fueling Me
Tino
I straightened my tie, looking at myself in the mirror. There was a ring twinkling on my finger, and I slipped it off, placing it in my bathroom counter. I couldn't say that I was a fiancée of the person I loved anymore. I shrugged on the blazer and tied my hair back. I walked out of my house, locking the doors, and I got into the black car waiting outside. I told the address to the driver, and he drove me there. He had a few attempts at luring me into conversation, but I stayed silent. We pulled up outside a church, my stomach churning.
I can't believe this.
My breathing sped up, and my hands were sweaty. I walked through the church doors, and saw the magnitude of flowers. White roses. They hung from every pew, and more white hung from the walls. It was a contrast to the darker, muted tones of the guests who were sitting down. There were only a few here, and my eyes met the scene in front of me. I walked to the front of the church, where the man I loved was. The piano was being played, and my heart slowed. I reached the front and took his hands. The priest looked at us, and started talking. Tears were flowing down my face, and suddenly all talking drew to a close.
'Tino,' Phil murmured, his eyebrows raising. I nodded.
'Phil Manansala, do you take Valentino Arteaga as your your lawfully wedded husband, for better or for worse?'
'I do.' Phil whispered, his eyes shining. We exchanged rings, and the priest said,
'You may now kiss the groom.' Cheers erupted, and I heard Austin's deep growl over everyone. But then Phil claimed my lips as his own, and I forgot the world.
'Get a room!' Alan yelled, clearly indicating the kiss had gone on too long.
I grabbed Phil's hand and raced out to the car, ready for our honeymoon. It wasn't a proper honeymoon because we had to go on touring next week, but we had booked a hotel a few hours away. This was my life. And it was perfect. Alan and Austin started kissing as we left, and I have a feeling about another band wedding on the horizon.
